I wish I was but an inch tall...

So that I could live here...

I decided it was high time I tackle an "altered object" instead of my usual layouts. I was skeptical - I mean, who needs a mini birdhouse? But I am actually so glad that I did this - it's just so girly and fits perfect with my class layouts. In fact, it fits so perfectly, I may just have to add this to the class...

Hello again...

It's been a while since I've posted any layouts - here's a few I did this weekend at Terri's house. Thanks for all the fun stuff Terri and Cory - oh, and thanks for being wierd with me, Helen.

No, no - not 'THE' Garden Girls! My Garden Girls from school - Rachelle, Sharon and Joni.

Need I say more?

Nana Carol back in the day. The papers are from October Afternoon's "Ducks in a Row" line - So stinkin' cute!!

Don't keep in touch much anymore, but we had a ton of fun that year!

I should be getting my kit from the Nook in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned for some awesome new product! Oh! And check out the gallery over at the Nook!

Finally!

You know, a normal person would probably have someone on speed dial they can call when they have a total malfunction - life, technological, cooking, cleaning, etc. Like a shout out or a phone-a-friend. Why don't we just get to open the window, and yell out whatever the problem is, and then receive an answer back from some random genius passer-by? I tried - it doesn't work - they just look at you like you're crazy. So what if I am?!?!

Anyway, Blogger freaked me out a bit, but all is well. All I wanted to do was put my own background on my page - who knew it would bring my whole little world crashing down...

Hope everyone else is having a great stress and dirty-looks-from-strangers free day!

We share our anniversary with America

Yes, it's true. Six years ago I kissed Eric under the fireworks with kids gleefully running around with sparklers. Romantic, huh? Well, if it were true it would be. In actuality, I was running around like a drunken crazy person at his friends house, wondering why they had a school bus parked in their backyard. In my drunken stupor, I thought that it would be a fantastic idea to get in said school bus with its countless other 4+legged inhabitants and THAT'S where it happened. Not exactly a shining moment for me, but I guess it worked!

Now if we could just make it down the aisle...

Oh Happy Day...

Mission accomplished. Couldn't be more excited!

I can't wait to see what my assignments are and what awesome collections I get to use!!

Halloween Tags

Yes, I know it's only July, but here's a cute idea for a Halloween party invitation.
Just cut out a tag from orange cardstock, punch a hole and set an eyelet in the top, stamp, doodle, curl some paper, glue it on under the eyelet, and string a ribbon through. Voila!

Tag made with We R Memory Keepers 'Madame Royale' Paper Pad. Curlies made with Cosmo Cricket's 'Apron Strings' from the Early Bird line. Owl stamp by Studio G, with Tim Holtz 'Vintage Photo' distress ink.

Thanks for looking!
