I'm baaaaack!

So, my head's been rolling around my studio floor for the last two weeks. Finally found it, dusted it off, and am ready to get back on track!!

Here's what I'm working on right now. Far from finished, but soooo excited to work on a "me" project. My favorite manufacturers, my favorite colors, my photos!! I haven't done this in forever - feels so good!

LOVE those adorable fabric flowers. Made them using the Dear Lizzy Fabric paper. Here's a video on how to make your own!

What lead to my formerly decapitated state, you ask? Well, let's just say that I've had more on my "to do" list than Nadya Suleman has kids. Are you watching Oprah right now? Yeessh...

Work is first - new customers, more orders. Things are good - could be better, but hey, it's work, right? I'm practically buried under samples, and just can't find enough time to get to them all! Who came up with this 24 hour limit? Total BS!!

Lots of work in the studio getting ready for an all-day crafty open house at St. John's Lutheran Church in Napa this Saturday. It's a day to work on your own crafty pursuits and learn some new techniques, too! Pre-made layouts, greeting cards, kits and projects galore!! Gonna be in town? Come on by!!

Also getting ready for the Relay for Life on May 1st in Fresno. Mom and Sis joined a while back and now I get to play too! Wanna sponsor me? Come on, you know you do! It's a cause that we all have a stake in, and hey, it's a tax write-off too! Click here to make a donation!

Oh! I almost forgot - looks like I'm gonna be designing some Unity Stamps, too! Can't wait to see how that turns out! Be sure to check out the most awesome stamp line ever!

Well, that's all for now - I'm all blogged out! I'll be back soon with some more - promise!

WTF

Have you seen this? For the record, I will never say "I Topeka'ed it." Never.

Also, if you're like me (and have hips) and are noticing a little tea dress trend out there and feel as though you've been slapped upside the head with the "too bad" stick, take heart.

Simply remove the ridiculous inner seam/hem of the dress that makes it all poofy and restitch it. Instant fix. I love it. I've done it twice this week with great results. Birthing-hipped girls, unite!
